Quality of Live Matters

Shoulder Bones

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder issues can be very painful as symptoms originating in the neck can spread to the shoulders. There are 17 different checks that we complete for the shoulders including the scapula, the acromioclavicular joint and alignment, the bicipital tendon, the sternoclavicular joint, the scapulothoracic joint, and the ribs under and around the shoulder. We also always check for facet conditions and disc problems that cause pain radiating into the shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

Elbow Pain

As was discussed with shoulder pain, disc problems can cause pain in the elbow as well. There are 3 bones in the elbow, each of which can be settled in different directions. The alignment has to be checked no matter what elbow issue you may suffer from.

Many people are diagnosed with bursitis, arthritis, tendonitis, neuritis, and fasciitis in the elbow and shoulder area. However, what caused those problems is what the problem is.

  1. Bones out of alignment will pull on muscles, which in turn will pull on fascia and tendons to cause fasciitis and tendonitis.
  2. The bursa is located underneath the tendon. When that is stretched along with the bones out of alignment, it will cause bursitis.
  3. When there is pain in the area called neuritis, that may relate to a disc problem from the neck down to the elbow.
  4. Arthritis is not the problem. It's what caused the arthritis. The tendons and ligaments pulling on the bone will cause boney growth due to the bones being out of alignment.

Wrist and Hand Injury example

Wrist Pain/Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

A doctor may diagnose you with wrist pain or carpal tunnel syndrome; however, does your pain originate from your neck, shoulder, elbow, or wrist? There are 8 bones in your wrist that connect with the ulna bone, the radius bone, and 5 meta-carpal bones, allowing a total of 15 bones around the wrist area that individually can go out in 4 to 8 directions. Because there are a large number of bones, many check-ups will need to be done to make sure everything is lined up properly. Anyone that suffers from wrist pain should see Dr. Bradley, a certified advanced specialist in extremity work.

Hand Pain

Many people think that they have arthritis in the hand when they actually suffer from a misalignment of the bones. There are 20 different joints in the hand that can go out in several different directions. Many people suffer endlessly when they can have these joints aligned, disc issues treated, and live a relatively pain-free life, so we encourage them to look to the right doctor who specializes in extremity work. When we say "specialist," we mean a doctor that will take the time to check all those joints in different directions! That would be Dr. Bradley.

Knee Injury skeletal example

Hip & Knee Pain

As you may already know, hip bones are connected to knee bones, so Dr. Bradley checks the whole extremity to see if there are any bio-mechanical problems in one area that may affect the other.

Foot Pain

Many people who suffer with pain in their feet often go to a "foot specialist" who may want to administer cortisone shots or even complete surgery. Many times, the extent of their training suggests that only one bone of 28 go out of place in the foot and ankle. However, all 28 bones can go out of alignment in several directions and can cause minor to serious pain in the feet.

Foot and Ankle Injury

Pain in the feet often stems from other concerns including disc issues in the low back, as nerves in the low back connect to the feet. Because we also focus on knee injuries, recommend avoiding surgery, and work on post-surgical prostheses for problems that have not been solved, Dr. Bradley will review the whole spectrum of causes to produce great results.
